The pilots communicate using state-of-the-art in-ear microphones and ear pieces and A6 radio equipment produced by Icom Radio Systems (Japan). This equipment enables them to speak to each other, as well as to the Base-Camp team.  In their other ear will be attached a oxygen pulsometer with an audible warning alarm if the pilots oxygen saturation gets too low.
