Gilo is an aviation-engineering specialist, a pioneer in the field of personal aviation and founder and Managing Director of Parajet. The company was formed with a view to developing a new form of human flight: the intrepid sport of paramotoring.
Having purchased the rights to the formidable Japanese-designed DK Whisper, Gilo has since totally redeveloped and revolutionised the machine both in terms of power ratios and flight efficiency. The GKN Mission Everest machine Parajet have built is the first of its kind ever in the world and places Parajet firmly at the forefront of Paramotor development anywhere in the world today.
Gilo managed the flight technology of Bear Grylls's most recent expedition: paramotoring deep into the Venezuelan jungle for Channel Four’s Lost World.
He is recently married.
