GKN Mission Everest – adventure with a heart
GKN is working with the Global Angels Foundation – a registered charity – to help children in Africa. Global Angels is an innovative international children’s charity championing the needs of children around the world. It promises that every pound received from public donations will go directly to support established projects working with children at grass-roots level.
Three initial projects have been identified where GKN Mission Everest can make an immediate difference:

Child Voice International in 
Eleven, 24 May 2000 Appa Sherpa became the first person to climb Everest 11 times-Ten, Ang Rita Sherpa, Babu Chiri Sherpa all ascents were oxygen-less.
In 1975, China tackled Everest with a 410-member team.
