Spending the day at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with my team, doing a Press farewell before we leave for Nepal.
Excited, nervous, you name it, I am feeling it at the moment..
.
Our final report for the Telegraph comes out this weekend on Saturday in the Weekend section, telling what has happened during this last bit of build up, with wind tunnels, hypobaric chambers, our first flight etc... and then our next piece will be written by me in early May from our base camp at 15,000ft in the shadow of Everest.
Suddenly all my 'Born Survivor' & 'Man Vs Wild' shows feel quite tame!

ps we have had some amazing test flights this last few weeks as well - Gilo has done amazingly getting both machines ready...and we have flown and flown. We are ready as we will ever be now. (see pic for one of my more radical spiral dives!)
