2 days in the Alps with the team 9/3/2007
I have finally met the team and have spent a few days with them.
We have been in the area of Mont Blanc Massive where the team have been practising their paragliding skills with tight maneouvering and all safety aspects with a number of experts based here in the area of Chamonix.
The GKN Mission Everest Paramotor arrived yesterday and the team were doing preliminary tuning and testing of it before trying a take off.
It has been great to to come and meet the whole team that are going to be in at base camp, discuss the logistics and organisational aspects of the mission and also to socialise and get to know them since we are going to be spending a lot of time together in the Himalayas.

Bear, I had back surgery in 1984 and I would like to know how you were able to climb Everest after you injured your back? You are an inspiration to me and my 6-year old son 'goes to the summit' whenever he plays outside. Thanks for making us all want to explore!

HI Guys,
Just wondering if any of you have taken any books to read and if so what? Also who inspires you?
Best wishes Heather. (the amateur cyclist)

You are an inspiration to anyone overcoming adversity. Do your camermen eat the same food you eat in the wild? They have to be experts also, how many of them do you use to film your wild adventure series?
Did you know?
