Heading home 16/5/2007

We are both pretty emotionally and physically shattered after this, but also so excited. I cannot believe that together we have pulled this off. I feel so privileged to have had such a wonderful team, and feel immense pride in Gilo and Parajet to have made a machine powerful enough to take us to the roof of the world and back safely.

So much happened up there and we have written it in full for the Telegraph out this weekend. Thank you for such support from all of you.

We are heading home...so relieved to be safe.

Bear

Well done Gilo, Bear, GKN and the team, this truly is a monumental achievement. Especially for Global Angels, what a great charity! Well done again, glad you guys all got back safe! One final question, did you actually fly over the summit or just to a height higher than it? If you flew over did you see anyone summit? I guess 9.33 is a little late for summiting but you never know... Cheers Bear!!
